Mariette!
I’ve experienced a season of burnout and just wished so much that I had a community of like-minded creatives that I could turn to for support, encouragement, or advice. Even in seasons of breakthrough, I found myself wishing that I had the right education and mentorship to turn my vision into something tangible – both creatively and in business.
I created At The Well Retreats with YOU in mind – a Christian Creative looking for a place to pause, refocus, and feel inspired to create again, surrounded by a community of like-minded souls who understand the heart behind what you create and why it matters.
I've taken all that I've learned through trial and error, included guest educators who also have YEARS of experience in the industry, created the support system I wish I had, put together styled shoots in dreamy locations to attract the EXACT kind of clients who I want to work with, and put it all into At The Well Retreats.
I have been where you are and my hope is that I can provide for you a community of people that can meet you where you are, mentorship that can help propel you to the next level, and thoughtfully styled shoots that will attract clients who are in alignment with your values and creative style.

Can I get in touch with other attendees before the trip to coordinate travel?
Yes! You’ll have access to ATW Connection Point – a group chat exclusively for attendees to coordinate travel like carpooling, ask questions, and get to know each other before the retreat even begins.
VWhat meals are covered?
Welcome Dinner prepared by a private chef on the first night and daily breakfast buffets. Lunch + Dinner on the remaining days are up to you – total flexibility to explore local spots or dine with new friends!
I’m still new to photography – is this for me?
Absolutely! At The Well is designed to meet you where you are. You’ll be surrounded by a supportive community, have access to cohesive styled sessions, and walk away with images that strengthen your portfolio and your confidence.
What if I don't know anyone?
Totally ok – most people don’t! Many attendees come solo and leave with real friendships. From ATW Connection Point to intentional community moments throughout the week, everything is thoughtfully orchestrated to help you feel welcomed, known, and connected from the start.
Will there be any worship or devotional time included?
Yes! There will be a worship night and times carved out for you to choose how you connect with God. It can be through a morning devotional or a quiet moment of reflection – it’s all about just simply giving you the room to slow down, step away from the noise, and let God meet you where you are.
Do I have to be Christian to attend?
While At The Well is rooted in faith and created with Christian Creatives in mind, you’re welcome here! Whether you’re grounded in your faith, new to your walk with Jesus, or just curious – welcome to our grace-filled space where you can show up as you are, feel seen, and have open, honest conversations. Please note that this is a space where we can disagree + still totally respect each other. My expectation is for EVERYONE to feel welcomed + respected at all times.
What happens if I can’t make it?
We totally understand that things come up. Because everything is booked and planned well in advance, payments are non-refundable – but you can transfer your spot to someone else if needed! If that happens, just reach out and we’ll walk you through the next steps!
